# Credentials, password, and renaming

> Where to view credentials, when password change is allowed, and rename behavior.

After provisioning, the VM page shows login credentials.

Password change:

* available only while VM is running.

Rename:

* changes the display name in panel lists and VM page,
* does not change the technical hostname.
