# Pay invoices with crypto or balance

> How payment method selection works and what changes after you choose one.

On a pending invoice without a payment address:

* choose Balance, or
* choose a crypto currency.

Balance payment:

* available only if your balance is high enough,
* not available for credit top-up invoices.

Crypto payment:

* creates a payment address and exact pay amount,
* shows QR code and countdown to expiration,
* requires sending the exact amount to the shown address.

After payment is finished, invoice status changes to paid and the linked service action continues automatically.
